I may like big star mariscos more than the original big star. The seafood is phenomenal and the service is great. The general manager ensured we were enjoying our meal and went out of his way to ask us how everything was and check in. It was so kind! In addition to the great seafood they make an amazing quesabirria!

Absolutely the *BEST* place to be in all of Chicago every Tuesday for half-priced oysters. Delightful staff who will ensure your total happiness-- THANK YOU, JOSH! Terrific tunes from their vinyl record player. My personal favorite from my last visit the day after Christmas was the greatest hits album by Chicago Blues legend Magic Sam featuring "Easy Baby", "21 Days in Jail", among other classic Blues tunes.

Ordered the tacos and lone star beer! Sat outside on nicely paved and clean patio. Great service. The tortillas are made fresh daily. Tacos were amazing. Great flavors. We ordered the papas con rajas, pescado, and carnitas.
We loved our food here. The salsas are a tad bland for me but the green ceviche and these shrimp with rice were super tasty. The tres leches is nice too.
Been there many times now. Only twice in the evening, however. Food is fresh and top notch. Bar service (I usually sit at the bar) is great. Engaging, but not pushy, Attentive and polite. Amazing food, cold beer. I’ve seen new things pop up on the menu. Not sure if that’s a regular thing or if they’re just playing around. Good stuff.
Food was snackin and staff was smackin. This place cute as hell and they let you host parties here. The aesthetic is on point if you’re going for an aggressively white/clean-New Mexico-meets top shelf alcohol vibe. the menu say ‘family style’ but I guess in they family it means 1 taco.
